Come one and all to the first annual mesquite milling at the Oracle Farmers’ Market!

Mesquite flour is delicious and nutritious…bring us your pod harvest and we’ll turn it into mesquite flour! We will have experienced staff to run the mill. The cost (to offset rental of the Desert Harvesters hammer mill) is $2 per gallon of whole pods (minimum $5 per harvest). Maximum harvest per family is 15 gallons if others are waiting (50 gallons if not). IMPORTANT: All pods must be clean and dry (they snap in two instead of bending). You must sort your harvest before coming to the event to remove any and all moldy pods and debris (these harm the mill)! We will inspect your harvest prior to milling.
