Featuring: Pamela Hamilton, editor and publisher of Edible Phoenix magazine, a quarterly publication dedicated to seasonal, local food, representing the new book “Edible”; Mary Paganelli Votto, co-author with Frances Manuel of “From I’itoi’s Garden: Tohono O’odham Food Traditions; and Amy Valdés Schwemm of Desert Harvesters, a nonprofit, volunteer-run organization that encourages the planting of indigenous, food-bearing shade trees, and educates the public on harvesting and processing, with their book “Eat Mesquite!

Admission to the event is free.
