This is a mandatory event for all Desert Harvesters volunteers and paid staff. It is also a great opportunity for those who want to become staff at milling events to get trained for the 2011 season.

This training event includes a potluck lunch, so please bring something to eat or drink that is made with local and/or native ingredients. And bring a plate/bowl, fork/spoon and cup!

Take Congress west of I-10, past light at Avenida del Convento, right on Melwood.  If you get to Grande or Melrose, you’ve gone too far. Going north on Melwood, go past stop sign at Alameda. Fifth house on the right is 140 (the house with an adobe wall).  No dogs, please.
